EDIT: Took some wayyy better shots ^^
FINALLY! after hours and hours of cutting felt he is done!
This is a OOAK handmade poseable volcano dragon, His feet and head are made out of polymer clay sculpted onto a wire frame so it is completely posable. He is then wrapped in batting so he is super squishy, hand painted with acrylics, sewn up in hand dyed faux fur and for the crackling lava all over is body I used black felt. He isssss about 8inx22in I'll get an exact measurement once i get my measurement tape
He is looking for a good home but uhm caution he will set thins on fire <_< >_>
I hope it didn't damage your motivation to continue making these wonderful creatures. By the looks of it, you continued your quest and have made a bunch of very cool things since then. That makes me glad, you have a wonderful talent! I hope to be able to make things like this one day, too!
Keep up the awesome work, and take care!
It made me much more reluctant to ship over seas again but so far havent had this happen again. I pray it doesnt again. Other than putting insurance on it and tracking I have no clue how to better prevent this....stupid customs Dx
Thank you for the kind words dear they mean a lot ^^ All it takes is practice as Im still learning I still consider myself novice in the art doll making and cant wait for the day when I am confident in everything I do to say otherwise
The painting and felt look amazing! So much patience, but it certainly paid off. He is just lovely! Glad to hear he has a new home.
You just keep getting better and better at these!
(Also, just curious... do you use an airbrush to dye your fur, or acrylic spray? Because either way, your control is impressive. 'Cause... I suck at that. |D Mine always farts when I'm spraying. Pressure control, baah.)
I got a really cheap set through amazon. XD And really, it saves you a ton of money versus acrylic sprays in the long run. :I Seriously.
But yes, you're most welcome! Seriously looks stunning~
