Chaos and order SOLD by KaypeaCreations Chaos and order SOLD by KaypeaCreations

Bunnies! Good lord there finally done >.< these two took way to long!!
Unfortunately my camera went to the heavens ;-; so i could no longer take update shots for now i just have my phones camera so these photos dont give them much justice but was eager to share them with you guys :3

They ended up being huge, little bigger than a average sized bunny! each is around 12 in tall x 12 in long (top of the head to feet, shoulder to bum) give or take. Each bunny's head and feet are sculpted onto a wire frame so there are completely poseable! I've always loved how adding hair/fur to the clay parts gave such a realistic look and wanted to give it a shot. took a few tries but for my first time i think it came out rather well :). After sculpting they are hand painted with acrylics then wrapped in batting so there super soft and cuddly :D. Lastly, sewn up in hand dyed fur, they are SUPER SOFT  i love it!

I will be uploading more shots hopefully soon ^^

Ahhhh they're sooooo cuuuuuuuuuuute! QuQ You really should get an etsy shop. That way the listing won't run out of time like on ebay. ^^ And, well, I just love your stuff! >u<

Basically just hot glue, moving quickly, and a lot of little strands of fur xD

So adorable, I like the fur detail on the faces! :) Seems like a lot of work! :O_o: Do you glue the hair on, add them to raw sculpt or something like that?

I glue them on ^^ I never thought of adding them to the raw sculpey though I wonder how that would turn out o.o

Woah! That IS a lot of work, but it looks so awesome! :la:
I'm not sure actually if it works on raw clay, my guess is that faux fur does not really like being baked.. it might depend on the quality, but in the past I had to re-bake a sculpt who already had hair and it was a lot shorter when it came out of the oven, LOL! It was not burned or anything, but it looked like it was shrinking (I hope this makes sense :D )

It is indeed! Faux fur has some kind of plastic in it, I guess? It doesn't like the oven very much :D

Wait nevermind, just saw the bidding price...I can't afford $225, $170 is as high as I can go so the panther's my choice to bid on now. XP

I agree with Mist-Fang, it's better to sell them as a set and people who don't want two for the price of one are...well, I don't want to say dumb but that's the best word that springs to mind. Two for the price of one it's a good deal! I'd love to have both of them for $150, and even if I only liked one of them, I wouldn't be getting it any cheaper for just one so it'd be more logical since I can always give the second to a friend as a gift or resell it to a Elyriia-fan who missed out on bidding. A set is a win. :)

I agree and ended up selling them as a pair but the price went a bit up I couldn't sell them for that low after all the work I put it xD. But yea I thought for Christmas one could have the one they liked and give the other as a gift or just be like "pffft forget all of you there mine!" xD
